The photo 1 is of the shawl folded in half, it is 72" wide across the shoulder and 44" long.  Photo 3 shows the pattern fairly well it is medallion lace which goes into ripple lace and is finished with a scalloped edge.  Photos 1, 2 and 3 show the shawl folded to show the pattern more clearly, photo 4 is a single layer to show how fine it it.  Unfortunately the colour in the photographs isn't very good, the colour is Rowan Pebbles, it's a mix of pale beige and a pinkish brown, the colours are muted but not dull.  It could be worn with quite a few colours beige, brown, dark/light pink, lilac, damson. I usually make baby shawls in 1 and 2 ply wool and they have been well recieved by buyers, I wanted a change, the pattern is not in any book, I have designed this and it has been knitted in a smoke free home.
