Self covered 5/8" buttons go completely down the front, with 6 above the waist and 7 below.  There is a medium length 1" tie from the side seems which ties in the back. Sleeves are short with no cuff. The upper front of the dress has pleats sewn up andthen down to make 2" squares.  It is very unusual andattractive.  At the waist there are six 1/2" pleats on eachside.  These are duplicated in the back at the waist also.Two darts go up to the shoulder blades from the waistin the back.  There are shoulder pads which can easilybe removed if desired. I honestly think this is a beautiful dress.  The polyesterfabric feels like very lightweight suede cloth which helps to give it the rich lustrous look.
