Actual piece shown in a past Spring Runway Collection. Purchased at Catherine Malandrino Store in Los Angeles. This is honestly one of the most uniquely beautiful pieces I've ever seen by Catherine Malandrino!  I actually bought two in different sizes because I loved it so much! This one is abouth a size 6-8.  This piece was the smaller size which I could never quite fit in so I only wore it ONCE!  She used a very interesting dye technique process on the silk. So the fabric looks almost tie-dyed. You can actually see the different layers of dye splotches... At first I thought there were dye spots on the material but was shown another skirt and explained the process. From what I heard there were only about 6 of these skirts made and each one was individually dyed so not one looked alike.  The color palette is taupe,mauve,blush, creme,and slate. It is detailed with the most beautiful silk embroidered designs.  The skirt is sexy but very ethereal and flowy. The bottom is scalloped with more silk embroidery. waist measures 15' inches.  length 41' inches. From a non-smoking home, this skirt is in beautiful condition!
