Description
This is an auction for a rare and lovely Alaia knit stretch skirt in very gently worn/very good condition in size small. This rare beauty features a subtle and elegant yellow and white/cream chevron design that is geniusly patterned to have a slimming look. The center, front, and back where the chevron comes to a point are detailed with faggoting and the sides are seamed. The ribbed waist and hem are solid yellow. Please note the colors are much prettier and brighter than the photos despict. The fabric is a very light weight wool and lycra blend with a ton of stretch to hug and flatter your curves. This beautiful Alaia skirt is an absolute must for a collector or anyone who simply wants to add some sizzle and flair to their wardrobe! The size is Small with the following measurements taken flat/outside of garment: 21" length, 25" waist stretches to 36" max., 37" hips stretches to 46", 1 1/2" wide waistband and 1 1/4" banded hem. This Alaia gem was very gently worn 2 - 3 times only and remains in very good/excellent condition with one minor -- 1/3" by less than 1/12" area near the back bottom side seam where the fabric is slightly raised. I believe this is most likely an error/imperfection in the knit? It is NOT a pull. In any case, it is not readily noticeable nor does it in any way take away from the lovely look nor fit of this gorgeous Alaia jewel.
