This skirt is so nice, beautiful cotton and the colors are pink-reds, pinks, burgundy, white and beige but the color almost seems like a very neutral skirt to me even with the splashes of different colors and I am not usually big on reds but this skirt is one I would wear. The skirt has an almost artsy look to it, an almost painted look about the pattern which is very nice, it's not stark it blends so well. Painted like fabrics are very popular this season. The other thing I love about this skirt is that there is white stitching all over it so that it really makes it more current and with it rather than a plain floral skirt. The waistband is elastic and there are two rows of white stitching at the waist, some of the waist fabric above the elasticized area is ruffled a small amount. The hem is about 3 and 1/8 inches and there is white stitching on the outer part of the hem also. The skirt buttons down the middle front and has three covered but hidden buttons for closure and the rest of the skirt from the last button to the hem is open for about 13 and 1/4 inch.
